The Yaesu M-70 desktop microphone is designed for most large and small Yaesu transceivers and offers very good voice quality and performance. The Yaesu M-70 uses a directional condenser microphone capsule that is specially tuned for frequency response to create crisp, clear audio on the broadcast.
The Yaesu M-70 is a desktop microphone designed for everyday use. So also for radio amateurs who do not make calls every day, but for whom the simple handheld microphone is too small and uncomfortable. The M-70 offers a frequency response of 30 to 17,000 Hz, adapted for radio communication. The built-in low-cut filter allows you to shape the low-frequency response (340Hz cutoff, -6dB/octave), this is activated by a slider switch located on the bottom of the mic.
The Yaesu M-70 fits almost all Yaesu transceivers. It is compatible with all Yaesu HF transceivers equipped with an 8-pin round connector or an 8-pin RJ-45 connector. Some older transceivers need an additional power supply, in modern radios the microphone is powered through the equipment socket.
