The AnyTone AT-D890UV is a dual-band walkie-talkie (VHF/UHF) for radio amateurs with DMR® digital technology (compatible with ETSI DMR Tier 1 and 2) that also works in analog FM mode, GPS with APRS and BT Wireless for connection with wireless micro-headsets. The AT-D890UV is an improved version of the popular AT-D878UV2 model, including new features such as: cross-band repeater and SFR mode, simultaneous DUAL reception, air band reception, among others.
Just like the previous model, the AT-D890UV features the ability to store up to 500,000 contact records and 10,000 talk groups in a large internal memory that allows us to save and work with up to 4,000 channels.
The AT-D890UV from Anytone features a generous 1.77″ color display with various backlight settings. It can be easily read from different angles and even in bright sunlight. The screen indicators have been updated, sporting a more modern look for better legibility. Additionally, it now features a bar graph to display signal strength.
The remaining functions of the AT-D890UV are extensive. In analog mode, functions such as DTMF, CTCSS, and DCS are supported, as well as signaling with two and five-tone codes. In digital mode, it features AES256 and ARC4 encryption, an internal memory recording function for both analog and digital modes, a “Man Down” alert, among many other features.
