The Yaesu SBR-45LI is a genuine, high-capacity (3200 mAh / 23 Wh at 7.2 V) rechargeable lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery, developed as an upgraded version and official replacement for the discontinued SBR-29LI model. Designed specifically for Yaesu handheld amateur radios and Standard Horizon marine equipment, it offers significantly extended runtime to support intensive work shifts, nautical voyages, and prolonged field operations.
Constructed with premium-quality, memory-effect-free lithium cells and encased in a highly durable black polycarbonate housing, it ensures stable, consistent power delivery during maximum-power transmission. It features low-resistance metal contacts and a sealed design to maintain equipment reliability in demanding environmental conditions and marine settings.
Key Advantages
- Extended 3200 mAh (23 Wh) capacity: Superior, long-lasting performance compared to the previous SBR-29LI version, maximizing continuous operating time.
- Advanced Li-ion chemistry with no memory effect: Allows for partial or full recharging at any time without degrading the battery’s usable capacity.
- Official SBR-29LI replacement: Direct replacement offering a perfect mechanical and electrical fit for compatible charging cradles and transceivers.
- Rugged, sealed housing: ABS/polycarbonate plastic structure resistant to impact, twisting, and splashes in marine and outdoor environments.
- Optimized power delivery: Regulated 7.2 V nominal voltage to sustain high-power transmission cycles without sudden voltage drops.
