PNI VX6500 is a CB microphone with VOX function and RJ45 connector.
The VOX function allows the CB user to automatically transmit without pressing the PTT (Push-to-Talk) key. The emission is activated when the sound (voice) exceeds a certain level.
To avoid accidental emissions, the PNI VX6500 microphone has two functions to adjust the VOX function:
– the VOX sensitivity adjustment function. There are 4 sensitivity levels available. We recommend setting the microphone to sensitivity level 1 (the least sensitive), to avoid inadvertent activation of the broadcast during background sounds or parallel conversations.
– the emission delay adjustment function (VOX delay) . This function sets the time between when you started speaking and when transmission is activated. 4 levels are available. The shortest time is at level 1.
The microphone is compatible with Jopix PT-31, PNI Escort HP 7120, PNI Escort HP 6500.
