The radio also features a key lock function, useful for preventing accidental changes to settings, as well as visual information on the screen regarding channel status, active functions, and signal strength.
Advanced Settings Menu
The PNI HP40 CB radio has a menu that gives the user access to numerous additional settings to customize its operating mode.
Through this menu, parameters such as ASQ, VOX, RF Gain, VOX Level, and other operating options can be adjusted.
The user can select auxiliary functions and configure the station according to their personal preferences.

The PNI HP40 CB radio operates in the 26.965 to 27.405 MHz band, with 40 channels compatible with multinational standards and AM and FM transmission modes. It is powered by either 13.8 V or 27.6 V DC, making it suitable for vehicles with 12 V or 24 V systems. Reception is ensured by a double-conversion superheterodyne system, with an approximate sensitivity of 110-114 dBm and audio output of up to 3 W. Transmission offers a transmission power of 4 W in both modes, with distortions of less than 5%.
