The Maxview Roam 5G WiFi System uses a powerful 5G antenna and a 5G router powered at 12v to provide WiFi to your motorhome or caravan. Roam 5G helps you get a better Internet connection in two ways:
- First, Roam 5G uses 5G or 4G mobile data to create an ultra-fast WiFi hotspot. By using the antenna, you can often pick up usable signals where your phone can’t.
- Secondly, when a direct WiFi source is available, the Roam 5G can be used to connect to an existing WiFi hotspot, ensuring data is only used when needed.
- Overall, the Roam 5G kit acts as an ideal WiFi booster for motorhomes or caravans to keep you connected.
Will I be able to watch Netflix, Movistar+ or Amazon Prime Video?
That’s how it is! The 5G Roam Kit will keep you connected to all your favorite shows in rural and remote areas, as long as you have a subscription or license for the corresponding service. You will need around 2-3 Mbps for standard definition streaming and around 3-5 Mbps for HD streaming. Music streaming services like Spotify need a maximum of 1 Mbps.
Do I need a SIM card?
Yes. The equipment is free and you can choose the operator that suits you best. How to choose yours will depend on the type of use you are going to give the system. In fact, the Maxview Roam 5G has double slots for 2 SIM cards which allows you to have two cards from two different operators< /strong> and thus guarantee maximum constant coverage wherever you go.
Are you going to watch Netflix or Movistar+ very often? So, you will need a considerable amount of data. If you watch an hour of videos a day, you’re going to need around 40 GB of data a month. Consider that this amount doubles if you watch the content in HD. Keep this in mind when choosing the contract with your operator.
