Made from high-quality aluminum, the HLP-270 antenna is more conductive than steel and more corrosion-resistant than other metals like copper. Its aluminum construction allows for a maximum power output of 800W on 70cm handheld bands.
Designed for efficient transmission and excellent portability thanks to its lightweight design (360g), the HLP-270 loop antenna can also be mounted horizontally for more precise signal reception.
The HLP-270 loop antenna offers 4dB of gain at very high frequencies and 5dB at ultra-high frequencies. Furthermore, the HLP-270 antenna has a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of less than 1.5 on all bands and features a 50-ohm impedance match on the SO239 connector.
