The PNI C130 has multiple charging modes depending on the environmental conditions or the purpose of the charge:
- Charge and maintenance mode (mode recommended for standard batteries and for charging in temperature conditions above 5°C).

- Reconditioning mode (applies a controlled charge voltage increase to allow the recovery of deeply discharged batteries) or
