The Tecsun AN-100 is a medium wave tuneable loop antenna designed to improve the reception of weak AM radio signals. The Tecsun AN-100 antenna acts as a high-Q preselector that can tune to the desired frequency/station. The Tecsun AN-100 antenna will improve audio quality and clarity compared to the internal antenna. Additionally, the Tecsun AN-100 loop antenna helps to reject adjacent frequencies/broadcasts that interfere with reception.
Use of the Tecsun AN-100 loop antenna:
- Tune the receiver to the desired frequency and align the body of the radio for best reception.
- Place the antenna close to the radio and slowly adjust the antenna tuning knob until you hear the received audio begin to change.
- Try slightly different orientations and distances between the antenna and receiver for optimum results.
The Tecsun AN-100 does not require batteries or a power supply.
The Tecsun AN100 antenna is supplied with a 3.5 mm stereo connector that facilitates the connection between the antenna and the radio (with fixed AM antenna input).
