Surveillance Device Detector
The PNI DT900 device is a portable detector designed to discreetly and effectively identify potential surveillance devices: hidden microphones, video cameras, and RF transmissions (GSM, 2G/3G/4G, etc.). It features a robust construction, with an ABS and metal housing, and integrates a lithium-ion battery that offers up to 10 hours of continuous use.
Multiple Detection Functions
The product offers several operating modes: RF signal detection between 1 MHz and 8 GHz, magnetic field measurement to detect magnetic equipment, LED laser scanning mode to identify camera lenses, and IR mode to detect hidden cameras in low-light or nighttime conditions. Additionally, it features an “Intelligent AI” mode that performs automatic scans at regular intervals and triggers an alarm upon detecting suspicious signals.
Use and Configuration
Operation is simplified thanks to a power on/off button, a sensitivity switch, and several buttons dedicated to each detection mode. The signal indicator is divided into four color zones (white, green, yellow, and red) that reflect the suspicion level, from “safe” signals to those identified as potentially dangerous. In urban environments with many signal sources, reducing the sensitivity to low levels is recommended to avoid false alarms.
