It has <strong>9 hours of runtime at 6W on the HF bands (SSB) and 8 hours at 6W on the V\/UHF bands (FM)<\/strong> (6-6-48 hour duty cycle). The SBR-52LI is recharged separately using a third-party USB Type-C cable (45W or more\/15V 2A). <\/span><span dir=\"auto\"><strong>Using an external 13.8 V DC power supply, it delivers up to 10 W of output power<\/strong> and the head automatically charges the SBR-52LI. <\/span><span dir=\"auto\">The <strong>Yaesu SPA-1<\/strong> (optional) can be connected to the rear of the head, and the FTX-1 <strong>becomes a 100 W base station<\/strong>. No tools are required for connection.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>FEATURES<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent handling of nearby signals, thanks to a powerful RF front-end with <strong>10 band-pass filters<\/strong> (BPFs) <strong>for the HF to UHF amateur radio bands<\/strong>, and a <strong>low noise figure<\/strong> (NF) <strong>RF amplifier<\/strong>, ideal for combating intermodulation. A high-purity <strong>oscillator at 110.592 MHz<\/strong> provides a high-quality sampling clock signal to the A\/D converter, with excellent C\/N characteristics.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SDR architecture<\/strong> ensures superior reception performance, utilizing the same high-resolution A\/D converter and FPGA as the FTDX10.<\/li>\n<li>Effective QRM rejection via a <strong>high-speed 32-bit DSP<\/strong> with SHIFT\/WIDTH\/NOTCH\/CONTOUR\/APF (<strong>Audio Peak Filter<\/strong>)\/DNR (<strong>Digital Noise<\/strong> <strong>Reduction<\/strong>)\/NB (<strong>Noise Blanker<\/strong>) functions.<\/li>\n<li>Dual-band operation, including <strong>simultaneous<\/strong> C4FM\/C4FM <strong>reception<\/strong> (HF\/V, HF\/U, V\/U, U\/V, V\/V, U\/U) \u2013 HF\/HF not available.<\/li>\n<li>3DSS (Three-Dimensional Spectrum) with a <strong>high-resolution 4.3-inch color TFT touchscreen<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Intuitive front panel with dual LEDs above the MAIN VFO to indicate MAIN\/SUB reception status, VMI LED (VFO mode indicator), and FUNC dial for quick access to menus and parameter adjustment.<\/li>\n<li>Super-DX extends communication range \u2013 available on all bands and modes except C4FM.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cPRESET\u201d mode, ideal for FT8.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Two<\/strong> large front-facing <strong>speakers<\/strong> provide powerful, high-quality audio.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Die-cast aluminum chassis<\/strong> with multiple slots for efficient heat dissipation, ensuring stable, high-power output.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>FUNCTIONS<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>MAG (Memory Auto Grouping) for HF\/VHF\/UHF:<\/strong> Memory channels are automatically grouped and can be recalled by band groups. In M-GRP (My Group), any memory channel can be assigned, regardless of frequency.<\/li>\n<li><strong>QMB (Quick Memory Bank) for HF\/VHF\/UHF:<\/strong> QMB saves the frequency, mode, transmit\/receive settings, filters, and other parameters of the received channel. Up to 10 channels can be recalled with a single press of the [QMB] button.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PMG (Primary Memory Group) for VHF\/UHF:<\/strong> Up to 5 PMG channels can be registered and quickly monitored. In AUTO mode, all PMG channels are scanned, and up to two active channels can be received simultaneously. In MANUAL mode, the selected PMG channel is constantly monitored, and the others are also scanned and received if there is a signal.
